This project transforms an existing 27-hole golf course and country club into a landscape-driven urbanist community. Centered on a existing configuration of the Indian Creek floodway with mature hardwood vegetation, the site is shaped around a 47-acre public landscaped core, offering a variety of open spaces, from large central park to distributed pocket parks and squares.

To the south, a retail and shopping quarter lined with high-rise residential and office buildings echoes the serpentine form of the central creek and park. To the north, three to seven story multi-family residential buildings form walkable neighborhood blocks, with all portions of the site connected by landscaped, pedestrian-friendly boulevards and streets.

Smaller green spaces are distributed throughout Brookridge and Village Park as amenities for residents, employees and visitors, and include the Village Park, the Event Lawn, the Stream Fountain, and the Cascade Fountain.

KSS was the Landscape Architect and Planner for the project working with WDG as the Architect.
