Education / Degree(s): Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University

Specialty, expertise, concentration or professional passion: Matt is an experienced landscape architect and planner with 19 years of professional experience. He enjoys working on all project types from large planned developments to small residential landscaping projects and everything in-between. His favorite projects are those that are in the public realm, where he is able to design and plan for unique spaces that are open to all. He also has a passion for re-wilded landscapes, a subject he was introduced to by his previous mentor and friend, Kevin Sloan. Matt strives to do his best to stoke the flames of the re-wilding fire that Kevin started, and looks for opportunities to apply those principles wherever he can.

Outside the office, I also enjoy: Leading ASLA meetings, serving as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board for the City of Ennis, photography, enjoying the outdoors, and attending live music events
