The efficient plan provides for logical zoning of people and equipment on the site, as well as clear delineation of public and private areas. Massing is organized to create a strong sense of civic strength, while stepping down in scale towards surrounding residences. Materials are selected for durability and ease of maintenance, including an iconic fire engine red entrance for the public.
